    Changing the Wallpaper

    1. From the Home screen, tap and hold an empty space of the screen.
    2. Then select Set wallpaper.
    3. Select the screen where you’d like to change the wallpaper image (home screen, lock screen, home & lock screens).
    4. Tap the desired wallpaper location (Gallery, Live wallpapers, HD wallpapers or Wallpapers). For the purpose of this tutorial we’ll go with Wallpapers.
    5. Then select the wallpaper that you’d like to use and tap Set wallpaper.
    6. Your wallpaper has been changed.

    Adding and Removing Widgets

    1. From the home screen, tap Apps.
    2. Then go to the desired home screen location and tap and hold any empty area of the screen.
    3. Tap Apps and Widgets -> touch the Widgets tab -> tap and hold the widget that you’d like to add to the home screen -> then drag it to the desired location on the home screen and release it.
      Note: Certain widgets will offer additional configuration options - > follow the on-screen prompts to compete the setup.
    4. In case you’re prompted, you can tap the edges of the widgets to resize it.
    5. When done, tap any empty area of the screen.
    6. To move a widget -> touch and hold the desired widget until it expands -> then drag it to a new location on the home screen and release it.
      Note: You can also move the widgets and apps from one home screen to another. To do so, just tap and hold the desired widget until it expands -> then drag it to the left or right until you see the desired home screen -> then release the widget.
    7. To remove a widget from the home screen, touch and hold the desired widget until it expands -> then drag it to the Remove icon located at the top of the screen.
    8. When the widget turns red, release it.

    Adding Widgets to the Lock Screen

    1. To add a widget to the lock screen, press the Home key.
    2. Then swipe across the clock -> tap the plus sign icon (+) -> select the widget that you’d like to add -> then swipe the widget to resize it.
    3. If you want to remove the widget from the lock screen -> tap and hold the desired one -> then drag it to the Remove icon located at the top side of the screen and once the icon turns red, release it.

    Removing Apps from the Favorites Tray

    1. The favorites tray is available on all the home screens and you can customize it to better suit your needs. The only icon that can’t be removed from the tray is the Apps icon.
    2. If you’d like to remove an app from them favorites tray, just tap and hold that particular icon and then drag it to the desired location on the home screen.

    Adding/Moving Apps on the Home Screen

    1. To completely remove the app from the home screen, drag it to the Remove icon located at the top right side of the screen. This process won’t remove the app completely from your Samsung Galaxy S4.
    2. To add a new app to the home screen, tap the Apps icon -> tap and hold the desired app -> then drag it to the desired location on the home screen and release the icon. The app will then snap into place.
    3. To move an app to a different location on the home screen, tap and hold the desired icon-> then drag it to a new location and release the icon.

    Creating a Folder

    1. Tap and hold an empty space on your home screen.
    2. Then select Folder -> name your new folder and tap OK.
    3. If you’d like to add an app to the folder, tap and drag the desired app to the folder and release it.
      Note: Certain apps can’t be added to folders. The widgets can’t be added to folders either.
    4. To view the contents of the folder, tap it.
    5. To remove an app from the folder, tap the desired app and then drag the icon outside the folder to an open spot on the screen.
