Installing and Setting Up Dropbox

  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Then tap Dropbox -> tap Start.
  3. If you don’t have a Dropbox account created and would like to make one right away, tap I’m new to Dropbox -> then follow the on-screen instructions until the account is created.
  4. If you already have a Dropbox account created, tap I’m already a Dropbox user.
  5. Tap the Email and Password fields and enter the necessary information -> then tap Log in.
  6. Tap Next -> you can now configure your Samsung Galaxy S4 to automatically upload photos or videos to your Dropbox account. Thus, if you want to allow Camera Uploads, select the desired uploading option (Wi-Fi Only or Wi-Fi or data plan) and tap Turn on.
  7. But if you don’t want to allow automatic Camera Uploads to your Dropbox account, tap Skip.
  8. Congratulations! Your Dropbox account has been set up and is ready to use.


Uploading Files to Dropbox
  1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Then tap Dropbox -> tap the Menu key -> select Upload here -> select the file type you’d like to upload (choose from Photos or video or Other files). For the purpose of this tutorial we’ll go with Photos or video.
  3. Then select the photos or videos you’d like to add and tap Upload.
  4. You photos/videos are now uploaded to Dropbox.
