Adding a New Contact:

  1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
  2. Tap the "New Contact" icon depicted as a "+" symbol
  3. Depending on the accounts that you have set up on your device, you may be prompted with a window containing the save options for the new contact. If so, select the desired account
  4. Tap the contact fields to enter the desired information. To add a new field, tap the "+" icon
  5. Optionally, you the "Contact photo" if you wish to add one, tap "Ringtone" to assign a custom ringtone for this particular contact, select a vibration pattern and more
  6. Once you've finished editing the details, tap the "Save" button

Saving a Phone Number to Contacts:

  1. On the home screen, tap the "Phone" icon
  2. Enter the contact's phone number on the keypad
  3. Tap "Add to Contacts" and then select either "Create contact" or "Update existing"
  4. Enter additional information as you desire then save the changes

Creating Contacts from the Call Logs:

  1. Tap the "Phone" icon on the home screen
  2. Tap "Logs"
  3. Select the desired call and then tap "Create contact" or "Update existing"
  4. Enter additional information if you wish, then save the contact

Updating an Existing Contact:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
  2. Select a contact and then press the "Edit" button depicted as a pencil. (Alternatively, you can tap and hold a contact, then select "Edit" from the menu)
  3. Edit the information and save the changes when ready

Joining and Separating Contacts:

Your handset is able to synchronize contacts from multiple accounts and social networks. When contacts are synchronized from multiple accounts, you may end up having multiple contacts for one person. You can join these contacts, keeping all the information together. To do so:

  • To join contacts:

    1. Access the "Contacts" app
    2. Tap and hold a contact and then select "Join contact"
    3. Select the contact that you wish to join with. (Note: you are able to join up to 5 contacts into on single entry)

  • To separate contacts:

    1. In the "Contacts" application, tap a contact to access detailed information about it
    2. Tap the "Connection" field to display joined contacts
    3. To separate contacts, press the "-" icon associated with the contact that you wish to remove / separate

Deleting Contacts:

  • To delete one contact:

    1. Tap the "Contacts" app located on the home screen
    2. Tap and hold the desired contact, then select "Delete"
    3. Tap "OK"

  • To delete multiple contacts:

    1. Access the "Contacts" app
    2. Tap the "Menu" key on your device and select "Delete"
    3. Mark the checkboxes associated with the contacts that you wish to delete
    4. Tap "Delete"

Choosing Contacts to Display:

You can choose to view all contacts, or specific contacts only. To do so:

  1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
  2. Press the "Menu" button on your device and select "Contacts to display"
  3. Choose either "All contacts" or "Customized list". If you select "Customized list", you will be given the option to select the contacts that you wish to view

Adding Contacts to Favorites:

  1. While viewing a home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
  2. Tap and hold a contact and then press "Add to Favorites". Alternatively, you can tap the contact and then touch the "Star" icon located at the upper-right corner of the display.
  3. Favorite contacts will be shown under the "Favorites" tab in the "Phone" or "Contacts" apps
