    Restoring App Data from a Google Account:

    1. Sign in with your Google account, if necessary
    2. From the home screen, tap "Apps"
    3. Go to "Settings" > "Accounts"
    4. Tap "Google" and then tap "Sync all"
    5. Press the "Back" key and tap "Backup and reset"
    6. Mark / Clear the check boxes associated with "Backup my data" and "Automatic restore"

    Restoring App Data from a Samsung Account:

    1. Tap "Apps" from the home screen
    2. Go to "Settings" > "Accounts" > "Add account"
    3. Select "Samsung account" and sign in with your account
    4. Tap "Settings" and select "Cloud" > "Restore"
    5. Select the items that you wish to restore and tap "Restore now"

    Restoring Contacts from a Samsung or Google Account:

    1. Tap the "Apps" icon located on the home screen
    2. Go to "Settings" > "Accounts"
    3. Select either "Google" or "Samsung"
    4. Tap your email address located at the top
    5. Tap the "Sync contacts" check box. If the box is selected, tap "Sync now"

    Restoring Contacts from the SD Card:

    1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
    2. Go to the "Contacts" tab
    3. Tap "Menu" > "Settings" > "Contacts"
    4. Select "Import / Export" and tap "Import from SD Card"
    5. Select an account if necessary, and load the desired VCF file to import its contents

    Restoring Media Files from the SD Card:

    1. Tap the "Apps" icon
    2. Open "My files" > "All files" > "SD card"
    3. Browse for the desired files
    4. Tap and hold the file that you wish to restore and tap "Move"
    5. Select an available memory location and tap "Move here"

    Restoring Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Use the USB cable to establish a connection between your PC and SGS5
    2. If necessary, swipe the "Status" bar down on the smartphone and tap "Connected as a media device" > "Media device"
    3. Click "Open device to view files using Windows Explorer" in the AutoPlay window on the computer
    4. Navigate to where you wish to restore the files on your smartphone
    5. Open a new Windows Explorer window and locate the backed up files
    6. Copy the files and paste them on your phone's memory
    7. Once the transfer is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone by clicking the "safely remove mass storage device" icon located in the system tray

    Restoring Media Files from a Mac Computer:

    1. Connect your SGS5 to your Mac via USB
    2. If necessary, swipe the "Status" bar down and tap "Connected as a media device" > "Media device"
    3. Launch Kies on the Mac
    4. Inside Kies, click the "Back up / restore" tab
    5. Click the "Restore" tab
    6. Mark the check boxes associated with "Music", "Photo" and any other type of file that you want to restore. Optionally, you can click the "Select all items" check box
    7. Click "Restore" and follow the on-screen prompts if necessary
    8. Once the restoration process is complete, safely disconnect your smartphone from your Mac

    There are lot of reason to lead to the phone data lost , like the factory reset , root , phone device update and more , like the phone messages ,contacts, photos ,videos so on are so easy to lost from Samsung,
    We must have a method to restore Samsung data
