Managing Contacts

Adding a New Contact:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Contacts" icon
  2. Access the "Contacts" tab
  3. Tap the "+" icon and select to save the contact on the "Device", "SIM" or "Google" (account)
  4. Tap the "First name" field and enter the contact's first name
  5. Type in the contact's phone number
  6. Provide any additional information as you see fit
  7. When you're done completing the profile, tap "Save"

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Phone" icon
  2. Tap the "Keypad" tab if necessary
  3. Press "Menu" and tap "Speed dial setting"
  4. Tap the dial pad number you wish to use
  5. Select the contact that you wish to assign to the previously selected dial pad number

Deleting Contacts:

  1. Launch the "contacts" application
  2. Access the "Contacts" tab
  3. To delete contacts from a specific list (such as Google contacts), press the "Menu" key, and tap "Contacts to display"
  4. Press the "Menu" key
  5. Tap "Delete"
  6. Mark the check boxes associated with the contacts that you wish to remove. NOTE: optionally, you can tap "Select all"
  7. Tap "Delete" > "OK"

Importing / Exporting Contacts

Importing Contacts from the SD Card:

  1. Tap the "Contacts" icon located on the home screen
  2. Go to the "Contacts" tab
  3. Press the "Menu" key
  4. Tap "Import / Export"
  5. Tap "Import from SD card"
  6. Select the location where you wish to save the contacts and tap "OK"
  7. Tap "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
  8. Tap "OK"
  9. If required, select the desired VCF files and tap "OK"

Exporting Contacts to the SD Card:

  1. From the "Contacts" app, tap the "Contacts" tab
  2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
  3. Tap "Export to SD card"
  4. Tap "OK" to confirm

Importing Contacts from the SIM Card:

  1. Open the "Contacts" application
  2. From the "Contacts" tab, press the "Menu" key
  3. Tap "Import / Export"
  4. Tap "Import from SIM card"
  5. Select where you wish to import the contacts (such as an account) and tap "OK"
  6. Mark the check box next to the contacts that you wish to add, or tap "Select all"
  7. Tap "Done"

Exporting Contacts to the SIM Card:

  1. From the "Contacts" app, go to the "Contacts" tab
  2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
  3. Tap "Export to SIM card"
  4. Mark the contacts that you wish to export, or tap "Select all"
  5. Tap "Done"
  6. Press "OK" to confirm

Managing Groups

Creating a New Caller Group:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" app
  2. Tap the "Groups" tab
  3. Press the "Menu" key
  4. Tap "Create" and enter a name for the group
  5. Tap the "Add member" button and mark the check boxes associated with the contacts that you wish to add to the group
  6. Tap "Done" > "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing caller Group:

  1. Launch the "contacts" app
  2. Access the "Groups" tab
  3. Select the desired group
  4. Tap the "+" icon or tap "Menu" > "Edit" > "Add member"
  5. Mark the check boxes associated with the contacts that you wish to add, or tap "Select all"
  6. Tap "Done"
