How-to: Galaxy S5: Block calls & texts Using Blocking Mode

To block an individual number which called you, open the call record from the call log. In the upper right corner of the screen, click the three-dot icon. Select "Add to Reject List".

You also can use the Sprint website. Log in and select PREFERENCES. On the left side of the screen, click Block Voice. Click on your phone's number and scroll down to a box where you can enter the phone number you wish to block. Click SAVE when finished.

Text Messages also can be blocked from specific numbers using the same method.

After blocking a caller, if unblocked will the texts they sent while blocked show up?

I don't have the BLOCKING MODE option on my phone

Well I'm confused. My s5 - I blocked a number & yet I am still having the text messages come through on my phone. Yes I have blocked correctly. Also there is no "BLOCKING MODE" on the galaxy S5.

I just blocked someone from calling/texting me and I want them to know their blocked. Can they tell?

how did you do that? because i just blocked calls like described above to do and i went into the text and chose to put the number into spam numbers sooo im HOPING ive done it i KNOW this scam artist betta NOT say NOTHIN ELSE to me cause the HORRIBLE job she did on my hair is not only getting her blocked but imma be DELETING her ads on the website i found her on! it's in HER best interest NOT to text or call me ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!
