Ok this is my first smart phone. I have been using a old plain jane type phone before that. Now I have this new phone and put a micro SD card a 16 gig in it, Class 10, 40 meg a sec one so not a slow card. No according to the pdf manual I have been reading its suppose to store pictures and videos taken onto this card BUT it doesn't seem to be doing that. I take a bunch of pictures and shoot a few videos but when I go into task manager and look at the micro SD card it appears empty. So I unmounts the card remove it from phone and put it into an micro-sd to SD adapter and put it into my card reader on my PC. Its empty. no pictures or videos on it. WTF. Why aren't the pictures and videos being stored on this card as thats the WHOLE reason I put the micro-sd card in the phone in the first place. I have been searching the manual but cant find squat on this.

Never mind as soon as I posted this question at the bottom of screen it showed how to fix problem. I did do a search first but didn't find this answer. Oh well.

It should give you an option in the camera settings. Is that what you discovered?

Yes it was in the options for the camera. I was looking at the storage options. the manual seemed to indicate that it would default to the sd card which it didn't. all set now though.
