Call Log Management
Viewing the Call Log and Clearing Individual Entries:
- Tap "Phone" on the home screen
- Access the "Logs" tab
- Tap and hold the entry you wish to remove from the "Call log"
- Tap "Delete" to confirm
Resetting the Call Log:
- Launch the "Phone" application
- Access the "Logs" tab and press "Menu"
- Tap "Delete" > "Select all"
- Tap "Done" > "OK"
Call Blocking / Unblocking
Blocking Calls from a Number:
- While viewing the home screen, tap "Phone"
- From the "Logs" or "Keypad" screen, tap "Menu"
- Go to "Settings" and tap "Call" > "Call rejection"
- Tap "Auto reject list" > "Create"
- Touch the "Contacts" icon
- To enter a phone number manually:
- Type in the phone number
- Optionally, select a match criteria option:
- Exactly the same as
- Starts with
- Ends with
- Includes
- Tap "Save"
- To search for a number and block it from "Logs" or "Contacts":
- Tap the "Contacts" icon
- Tap "Contacts" or "Logs"
- Select the phone number to reject or the contact to add to the reject list
- Tap "Save"
Unblocking a Phone Number:
- Tap "Phone" while viewing the home screen
- From the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen, press "Menu"
- Tap "Settings" > "Call"
- Tap "Call rejection" > "Auto reject list"
- To allow calls but leave the number on the blocking list, clear the check box associated with the number
- To allow calls and also remove the number from the list, tap the "Trash can" icon, select the number's check box and tap "Done"
Blocking & Unblocking Messages
Blocking Messages from the Settings Menu:
- Tap "Messages" while on the home screen
- Press the "Menu" key and tap "Settings"
- Mark the "Spam filter" check box
- Tap "Add to spam numbers" and touch the "+" sign
- Enter the number manually, or select a contact from the phonebook
- When ready, tap "Save"
Blocking a Messages via the Messages App:
- Tap "Messages" while on the home screen
- Tap and hold the conversation containing the number you want to block
- Tap "Remove from spam" in the upper-right corner
Unblocking Messages from the Settings Menu:
- Launch the "Messages" application
- Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
- Tap "Spam filter" to select the check box
- Tap "Add to spam numbers"
- Tap and hold the number you want to unblock and touch "Delete"
- Press "OK" to confirm
Unblocking Messages via a SMS or MMS:
- Open "Messages"
- Tap and hold the conversation thread containing the number you wish to unblock
- Tap the "Remove from spam" icon located in the upper-right corner
Call Forwarding
Forwarding All Calls (Unconditional Forwarding):
- Launch the "Phone" application
- Press "Menu" while viewing the "Logs" or "Keypad" screen
- Tap "Settings" > "Call" > "Additional settings"
- Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
- Enter the phone number you wish to forward calls to
- Tap "Turn on"
Forwarding Certain Calls Only (Conditional Forwarding):
- From the "Phone" app, tap "Menu" while viewing the "Logs" or "Keypad" screen
- Go to "Settings" and tap "Call"
- Tap "Additional settings" > "Call forwarding"
- Select to "Forward when busy", "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when unreachable"
- Type in the phone number you wish to forward calls to
- Tap "Update"
Cancel Call Forwarding:
- Launch the "Phone" app
- Go to the "Logs" or "Keypad" screen and press "Menu"
- Tap "Settings" > "Call" > "Additional settings"
- Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
- Press "Turn off" to disable forwarding
