Call Blocking
Blocking Calls:
- While viewing the home scree, tap "Phone"
- Access the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen
- Tap the "Menu" icon and go to "Settings"
- Tap "Call" > "Call rejection" > "Auto reject list"
- Tap "Create" and touch the "Contacts" icon
- To manually enter the number you wish to block:
- Type in the desired phone number
- Select a Match criteria, such as "Exactly the same as". Optionally, you can select "Starts with" to block numbers from a certain area code or network etc.
- When done, tap "Save"
- To search for the number you wish to block:
- Tap the "Contacts" icon
- Go to the "Logs" or "Contacts" screens
- Tap the number you wish to reject, or select the contact you want to add to the reject list
- Tap "Save"
Unblocking a Phone Number:
- Tap "Phone" while viewing the home screen
- Go to the "Logs" or "Keypad" screen and tap the "Menu" icon
- Tap "Settings" > "Call" > "Call rejection"
- Tap "Auto reject list"
- To allow the calls from the number but leave the number on the block list: clear the check box associated with it
- To allow calls and remove the number from the reject list:
- Tap the "Trash can" icon
- Select the check box associated with the number you wish to remove from the list
- Tap "Done"
Message Blocking
Blocking Messages via a SMS or MMS:
- Tap "Messages" while viewing the home screen
- Tap and hold the conversation thread containing the number you wish to block
- Tap the "Remove from spam" icon located in the right-hand corner of the screen
Blocking Messages via the Settings Menu:
- Launch the "Messages" app
- Press the "Menu" key and tap "Settings"
- Tap "Spam filter" to mark the check box
- Tap "Add to spam numbers" and touch the "+" sign
- Enter the desired phone number manually, or select it from "Contacts"
- Tap "Save" when finished
Unblocking Messages from a SMS or MMS:
- Launch the "Messages" app
- Tap and hold the conversation thread containing the phone number you wish to unblock
- Tap the "Remove from spam" icon located in the top-right corner of the screen
Unblocking Messages Using the Settings Menu:
- Tap "Messages" while viewing the home screen
- Press the "Menu" icon located in the upper right-hand corner
- Tap "Settings" and mark the "Spam filter" check box
- Tap "Add to spam numbers"
- Tap and hold the number you wish to unblock
- Touch "Delete" and press "OK" to confirm
Call Forwarding
Forwarding All Calls (Unconditional Forwarding):
- While viewing the home screen, tap "Phone"
- From the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen, tap the "Menu" icon
- Tap "Settings" > "Call" > "Additional settings" > "Call forwarding"
- Tap "Always forward" and enter the phone number to forward your calls to
- Tap "Turn on"
Forwarding Some Calls Only (Conditional Forwarding):
- Tap "Phone" while on the home screen
- Tap the "Menu" icon while viewing the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen
- Tap "Settings" and go to "Call" > "Additional settings" > "Call forwarding"
- Select to "Forward when busy", "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when unreachable"
- Enter the phone number you wish to forward your calls to
- Tap "Update"
Cancel Call Forwarding:
- Launch the "Phone" app and go to the "Logs" or "Keypad" screen
- Tap "Menu" and go to "Settings"
- Tap "Call" > "Additional settings" > "Call forwarding"
- Tap "Always forward" and touch "Turn off"
Manage the Call Log
Viewing the Call Log:
- Tap "Phone" from the home screen
- Go to the "Logs" tab
- Tap a call listed in the Logs tab to view more details about it
Resetting the Call Log:
- Launch the "Phone" app
- Access the "Logs" tab
- Press the "Menu" icon and tap "Delete"
- Tap "Select all" > "Done"
- Press "OK" to confirm
