Contact Management

Adding a Contact:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Contacts"
  2. Access the "Contacts" tab
  3. Tap the "+" icon and select to save the contact on the "Device", "SIM card", "Google" or "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"
  4. Type in the contact's name and phone number in the appropriate fields
  5. Enter any additional details you desire, such as email addresses, physical addresses etc.
  6. When you're done editing the contact, tap "Save"

Importing / Exporting Contacts:

  1. Tap "Contacts" while on the home screen
  2. Access the "Contacts" tab and press "Menu"
  3. Tap "Settings" and go to "Contacts"
  4. Tap "Import / Export"
  5. Select to:
    • Import from USB storage
    • Export to USB storage
    • Import from SD card
    • Export to SD card
    • Import from SIM card
    • Export to SIM card
  6. Follow any additional on-screen steps that may follow

Adding a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. Tap "Phone" from the home screen
  2. Tap the "Keypad" tab and press the "Menu" icon located in the upper-right corner
  3. Select "Speed dial"
  4. Touch the speed dial number you want to use
  5. Select the contact you wish to associate with the selected speed dial number

Deleting Contacts:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" app and go to the "Contacts" tab
  2. Press "Menu" and select "Delete"
  3. Mark the check boxes associated with the contacts you wish to remove
  4. Tap "Done" > "OK"

Managing Caller Groups

Creating a Caller Group:

  1. From the home screen, launch the "Contacts" app
  2. Access the "Groups" tab
  3. Tap "Add"
  4. Select to "Create group in All Accounts" or a different option
  5. Enter the group's name in the appropriate field
  6. Tap "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Tap "Apps" while viewing the home screen
  2. Launch "Contacts" and access the "Groups" tab
  3. Select the desired group
  4. Tap "Add" and then select the contacts you wish to add
  5. Tap "Done"
