Contact Management

Adding a New Contact:

  1. Tap "Contacts" while viewing the home screen
  2. Access the "Contacts' tab and tap the "+" icon
  3. Select to save the contact on the "Device", "SIM" or "Google" account
  4. Tap the "First name" field and enter the contact's name
  5. Add the contact's phone number in the appropriate field
  6. Enter any additional contact information if necessary and tap "Save" when ready

Import Contacts from the SD Card:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" app
  2. Access the "Contacts" tab and tap "Menu"
  3. Tap "Import / Export" > "Import from SD Card"
  4. Select the location where the contacts should be imported and tap "OK"
  5. Choose to "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
  6. Tap "OK" and if necessary, select the desired vCard files then tap "OK" again to confirm

Exporting Contacts to the SD Card:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" app and access the "Contacts" tab
  2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
  3. Select to "Export to SD card"
  4. Tap "OK" to confirm

Importing Contacts from the SIM Card:

  1. Open "Contacts" and access the tab with the same name
  2. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
  3. Tap "Import from SIM card" and select the location where the contacts should be saved
  4. Mark the check boxes associated with the contacts you wish to import, or tap "Select all"
  5. Tap "Done"

Exporting Contacts to the SIM Card:

  1. Open "Contacts"
  2. Tap the "Contacts" tab and press "Menu"
  3. Tap "Import / Export" > "Export to SIM card"
  4. Select the contacts you wish to export or tap "Select all"
  5. Tap "Done" and press "OK" to confirm

Assigning a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. Launch the "Phone" application
  2. Tap the "Keypad" tab if necessary
  3. Press the "Menu" button and select "Speed dial settings"
  4. Tap the dial pad number you wish to use for speed dialing
  5. Select the contact you wish to associate with the selected dial pad number

Deleting Contacts:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" application
  2. Access the "Contacts" tab if necessary. NOTE: to delete contacts from a particular contact list, press "Menu", tap "Contacts to display" and select the desired contact list
  3. Press "Menu" and tap "Delete"
  4. Mark the check boxes associated with the contacts you wish to remove, or tap "Select all"
  5. Tap "Delete" > "OK"

Caller Group Management

Creating a New Caller Group:

  1. Launch the "Contacts" application
  2. Access the "Groups" tab and press "Menu"
  3. Tap "Create" and enter a name for the group
  4. To add members to the group, tap "Add member" and mark the check boxes associated with the desired contacts. Tap "Done"
  5. When ready to apply the changes, tap "Save"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Tap "Contacts" while viewing a home screen
  2. Access the "Groups" tab
  3. Select the desired group and tap the "+" button. Alternatively, press "Menu" > "Edit" > "Add member"
  4. Mark the check boxes next to the contacts you wish to add to the group, or tap "Select all"
  5. Tap "Done"
