    Using iTunes:

NOTE: If you have iTunes installed on your computer, you can use the software to sync the contacts stored on your iPhone with a Google account. Then, you can sync the contacts from the account with the Samsung Galaxy A5. To do so:

    1. Launch iTunes on the computer
    2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
    3. Once connected, the iPhone will appear in iTunes
    4. Access the phone's summary page and go to the "Info" tab
    5. Mark the "Sync Contacts With" check box
    6. From the drop-down list, select "Google Contacts"
    7. Add the Google contact you want to sync contacts with. Assuming that you have added a Google account in iTunes before, you can click "Configure" and select it from the list
    8. Click "Apply" to begin the sync
    9. When the process is complete, sign in with the same Google account on the Galaxy A5 and allow it to sync contacts with your Android device

    Using iCloud:

NOTE: If you have used the iCloud backup service before finding this guide, your iPhone contacts should already be backed up on your iCloud account. By accessing the account via a computer with Internet access, you can export the contacts in the form of a VCF file for your Android phone.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on your computer
    2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
    3. Click "Contacts" and select the ones you wish to export
    4. Click the "Settings" button and then click "Export vCard"
    5. Wait for the VCF (vCard) file to be downloaded on the computer
    6. Import the file to "Google Contacts" or connect the Galaxy A5 to your computer via USB and transfer the file manually to the phone's storage. Afterwards, launch "Contacts", press "Menu" > "Settings" > "Contacts" > "Import / Export" and follow the on-screen prompts to import the file

    Using "My Contacts Backup":

NOTE: The methods described above require access to a computer connected to the Internet. You can, however, transfer your contacts without needing a computer, through various third party applications. My Contacts Backup is a 3rd party iOS app that can back up and transfer your contacts via email.

    1. Access the App Store on your iPhone and install "My Contacts Backup"
    2. Launch the application and tap "Backup"
    3. Once the file is created, tap "Email" to start a new email and attach the file to it
    4. Send the email to your Gmail address
    5. Switch to the Galaxy A5, open the email and download the attached VCF file
    6. Import the file to your phonebook using the "Contacts" app and the "Import" function

    Using "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: You can also use "Send Anywhere" as a third party app for contact transfer. This is an application for both Android and iOS, and uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts and various types of files, even cross-platform.

    1. Visit the App Store and install "Send Anywhere" on your iPhone
    2. Access the Google Play Store and download the application on the Galaxy A5 too
    3. Launch the app on both handsets
    4. On the iPhone, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
    5. Choose the contacts you wish to share and tap "Send"
    6. Select the desired transfer method and you're all done. You can tap "Receive" on the Galaxy A5 and enter the randomly generated transfer code displayed on the iPhone, or you can tap "Generate QR Code" on the iPhone and scan the code with the Galaxy A5's camera to begin the process
