    Using a Google Account:

NOTE: Using a Google account on the Samsung Galaxy SIII you can sync the contacts on your device, and re-sync them afterwards on the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max.

    1. If necessary, register your Google account on the SGSIII
    2. From the home screen, press "Menu"
    3. Go to "Settings" and tap "My Accounts"
    4. Select "Google" and tap your "user name" or "email address" at the top of the screen
    5. Mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts" and tap "Sync now"
    6. Switch to the Galaxy Grand Max and register the same Google account
    7. Access the phone's "Settings" menu
    8. Tap "User and Backup" > "Accounts"
    9. Press "Menu" and tap "Sync all"

    Using the "Contacts" App:

NOTE: Using the pre-loaded "Contacts" app you can back up the contacts stored on the SGSIII, transfer the backup file to the Grand Max via email or PC, and then restore the backup file on the Grand Max. To do so:

    1. Launch the "Contacts" app on the Galaxy SIII
    2. Access the "Contacts" tab
    3. Press "Menu" > "Contacts to display" > "All contacts"
    4. Press "Menu" and tap "Import / Export"
    5. Tap "Export to SD card" and make sure to remember the backup file's name for future use
    6. After the backup file is created, open the email client
    7. Compose a new email and attach the backup file to it
    8. Send the email to your own Gmail address
    9. Switch to the Galaxy Grand Max and open the email, then download the attached file
    10. Open the "Contacts" application
    11. Press "Menu" > "Import / Export"
    12. Choose to "Import from SD card" or "Import from storage", depending on where the VCF file was downloaded
    13. Locate and select the file to import the contacts

NOTE: After the VCF file is created on the Galaxy SIII, you can transfer it to the Samsung Galaxy Grand Max by connecting both smartphones to your computer via USB, and manually copy-pasting it from the SIII to the Grand Max. Then, import the file using the "Contacts" app

    Using "Send Anywhere":

NOTE: Lastly you can also use 3rd party apps to transfer your contacts. Send Anywhere is an application that can transfer files and contacts via a P2P connection without needing access to a computer. To transfer contacts using "Send Anywhere":

    1. Open the Google Play Store and install the app on both smartphones
    2. Launch "Send Anywhere" on both of your devices
    3. On the Galaxy SIII, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
    4. Mark the contacts you want to share and tap "Send"
    5. Select the desired transfer method. Tapping "Receive" on the Galaxy Grand Max allows you to enter the randomly generated transfer code from the Galaxy SIII to commence the transfer. Alternatively, tap "Generate QR Code" on the SIII and scan the code with the Grand Max's camera to begin the transfer
