Via iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data with the Galaxy On7. To do this:

  1. Launch iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your PC via USB
  3. After it connects, click the iPhone to access the summary page
  4. Click the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With
  5. Choose “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account in iTunes, or alternatively, click “Configure” and select an existing account if available
  7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  8. Once the sync is done, register your Google account on the Galaxy On7 and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Via iCloud:

NOTE: If you’ve used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone before, the contacts on your device should already be backed up on your iCloud account. You can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts as a vCard file.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Click “Contacts” and select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. After the vCard file is downloaded on the PC, import its contents to “Google Contacts
  7. Alternatively, you can skip the step above and instead connect the Galaxy On7 to your computer to manually transfer the vCard file to the phone storage. Then, import the vCard’s contents via “Contacts

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require access to a computer, you can also rely on third party apps to transfer your contacts. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Launch the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup
  3. Once the backup file is created, tap “Email
  4. Ensure the backup file is attached to the email and send it to your own address
  5. Switch to the Galaxy On7 and open the email containing the attached file
  6. Download the file and import its contents via “Contacts

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use to transfer contacts from your iPhone is Send Anywhere. It uses a P2P connection to transfer content without needing a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Galaxy On7
  3. Launch the app on both handsets
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method. You can tap “Receive” on the Galaxy On7 and enter the code from the iPhone, or tap “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone and scan the code with the Samsung phone’s camera to begin the transfer
