How-to: Samsung Galaxy On7: Block Calls & Messages; Forward Calls

Block Calls:

1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
2. Tap “More” > “Settings”
3. Tap “Call rejection” > “Auto reject list”
4. Perform one of the following:
   
   • To block a phone number:
     
     1. Enter the phone number
     2. Select a “Match criteria” or leave it to default on “Exactly the same as”. (NOTE: picking “Starts with” can be used to block calls from a certain area code / network etc.)
   • To block a contact:
     
     1. Tap “Contacts”
     2. Go to “Logs” or “Contacts”
     3. Tap the contact / number you want to block
   • To block unknown callers: tap the “Unknown” switch to “ON”

Unblock Calls:

1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
2. Tap “More”
3. Go to “Settings” and tap “Call rejection”
4. Tap “Auto reject list”
5. Tap the red “-“ button associated with the contact / number you want to unblock

Block / Unblock Messages:

1. Tap “Messages” on the home screen
2. Tap and hold the conversation thread exchanged with the number you want to block
3. Tap “Add to spam numbers”
4. To unblock messages, follow the steps above and tap “Remove from spam”

Block Messages via Settings:

1. Open “Messages”
2. Tap “More” > “Settings”
3. Tap “Spam filter” > “Manage spam numbers”
4. Enter the phone number you want to block, or select from “Contacts” or “Inbox”
5. Tap “+”
6. Tap “Back” to save the changes

Unblock Messages from Settings:

1. Open “Messages”
2. Tap “More” > “Settings”
3. Enable “Spam filter”
4. Tap “Manage spam numbers”
5. Tap the red “-“ button next to the number you want to unblock
6. Tap “Back” when done managing spam numbers

Forward Calls (Unconditional):

1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
2. Tap “More”
3. Go to “Settings”
4. Tap “More settings” > “Call forwarding”
5. Tap “Always forward”
6. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to
7. Tap “Turn on”

Forward Calls (Conditional Forwarding):

1. Open the “Phone” app
2. Tap “More” > “Settings” > “More settings”
3. Tap “Call forwarding”
4. Select to “Forward when busy”, “Forward when unanswered” or “Forward when unreachable”
5. Enter the phone number to forward calls to
6. Tap “Update”

Cancel Call Forwarding:

1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
2. Tap “More” > “Settings”
3. Tap “More settings” > “Call forwarding”
4. Select to “Always forward” and tap “Turn off”
