Sync iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: If you have iTunes installed on a computer with access to the Internet, you can use the app to sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Then, you can sync the account data with your Android device.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and access the “Info” section
  4. Turn on “Sync Contacts With”
  5. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  6. Sign in with your Google account in iTunes, or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “apply” to start the sync
  8. After the sync is done, switch to the Galaxy C7, sign in with the same Google account, and allow it to sync contacts with your phone

Transfer iPhone Contacts via iCloud Backup:

NOTE: In case the contacts on your iPhone have already been backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard backup file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and click “Contacts”
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  6. After the vCard has been downloaded on the computer, follow one of these steps:
    • Import the vCard via “Google Contacts”, or:
    • Connect the Samsung Galaxy C7 to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage, and import it to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Via “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The methods above require a computer with access to the Internet. However, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party applications such as My Contacts Backup. This is an iOS app that can back up and transfer iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app
  3. Tap “Backup”
  4. Once the backup file is done, tap “Email”
  5. Write a new email containing the vCard file as an attachment
  6. Send the email to your own address
  7. Switch to the Samsung Galaxy C7 and download the email attachment
  8. Import the downloaded vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is Send Anywhere, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to transfer contacts and other file types, cross platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Samsung device
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Tap “Send”
  7. Choose a transfer method, such as “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone or “Receive” on the Samsung device, and follow the on-screen prompts
