V200 SMS tone

Hi guys, i just wanted to know that does any of you guys can change your own sms tone?

check your firmware version *#9999#

if you have v20xxxG1 then you can change you sms tone

ive changed three of mine already its very easy to do

mine is V20XXXX3&2 , so i can't change the sms tone isn't it?
or do you know how to change the firmware?

find a program called optiflash and the g1 firmware over at mobilmedia.com follow the instrutions and let me know when your done

actually when i searched the optiflash program and i read the readme; it does not support my firmware. Mine is V200DTWA3&2. Also could you give the url link for the program and firmware that i should use please. And one more thing if the phone is possible to be flashed does the sms can be vibrate as well if i can create vibrating mmf file (i have no clue how to do this) Thanks man

sorry dude, i found both the software and the firmware V20XXWG1 & V20XXWG1. Which one should i choose? And how can i back up my old firmware

You've mentioned only one firmware version twice

Anyways, do you have the data cable for the V200? If yes, then run the optiflash, after switching OFF the phone and connecting it to the PC.

uhmm i've flashed my phone to F:v20xxwa2 and v20xxwg1 (that what appears when i press *#9999#)
then how can i change the sms tone then?
