why 32 chords? i thought most samsungs either use 16 chords or 40 chords. you can convert 16 chords to 40 chords with psm player 5.0. not sure the sound quality when converting 16 to 40 chords. my current phone, s100, uses 16 chords anyways so no need for 40's.

One more thing is that if a tone HAS ONLY 16 or lesser channels no point in making a 40-poly out of it. Again, if you want to convert a 16 to 40 then you need the extra channels or you could repeat the primary channel to make it sound even more louder. Basically in a Samsung phone there is no need to make things so loud as every poly phone right from the N620 comes with a dedicated speaker for ONLY the ringtone, and is usually quite loud enough.
What you lookin' here for ehhh?

    It's not PSM players fault.
    S105 is 16-poly while the E series is 40-poly.
This means that S105 can play only 16 channels at a time while E105/715 can play 40 channels at once, hence better quality music

midi channel and a mmf track can be the same thing or 1 midi channel can be broken up into multiple mmf track depending on the midi channel.

most common example will be the percussion channel. Let's assume it consists of bass drum, hit-hat, crash cymbal and low tom. in midi, it will be shown as 1 channel. when convert into mmf, it's common that it occupies 4 tracks. in ma2 spec, means you are left with 12 more tracks.

on the other hand, a simple piano midi track can translate into a single mmf track
