I have a Samsung x427, using Cingular.
#1: I want a ringtone which I have a wave file for...does anyone know how to convert waves into midi's? I have a few programs but I haven't gotten a decent conversion with any of them. The ringtone is from the TV show 24 and is the CTU ring.
#2: On my phone I don't know how to turn off images on my web browser. My friend has a Nokia and when he goes to the MSN Mobile site (mobile.msn.com) it loads text only. When I go to the same site on my phone it loads images, so when I try to go to a link I get an 'internal error' message because there is too much information to load.
Please help.

CJ - in response to #1, you could use Xingtone (www.xingtone.com) to send the wav file to your Samsung for use as a ringtone. You can edit/convert your file in a few simple steps and then you end up with a real music/voice ringtone.
Send me a note if you have any questions about the program.

sorry but samsungs will not accept wav files. only midi (on certain models) and mmf files. do a search on HERE for more info on converting wav/mp3 to midi/mmf files. still reading and learning myself so i can't help you much with this. as for the images thing, i don't browse much so i couldn't help you out on this either.
