Question obout internet service on a v205

Hey all.

I have recently recived an unlocked T-mobile branded v205. works fine great on my network (rogers AT&T ) execpt for one thing.

The WAP can't find the network, and while not a huge thing it is mildly annoying. What can I do to fix this?

I was doing some reading and I think I have to upgrade the firmware, or "un-brand" the phone. If I have to do this how do I go about it?

you will have to flash with sgh-v200 firmware so you can access and change the wap settings. go HERE for more info.
