Faceplates for Samsung A-670

Are there faceplates available yet for the Samsung A-670?
If so where can I find them?
All I can find are halograms to attach to the cover.

you mean for the visual display or what .. i dont even know what a 'faceplate' is for a670, or you mean sumthing that goes on outside, help me out here haha

I bought one of the faceplates for the Samsung A670 at a kiosk at the mall and had it installed there. Then I noticed that my camera was very out of focus and took it to Verison to be fixed. Turns out it was the new faceplate. It didn't fit well and the plastic lens on it that went over the camera was of poor quality. I had to put my original ugly faceplate back on.

Has anyone else had this problem or found a faceplate for the A670 that works with the camera? Please let me know. I'm about to break down and paint it with model airplane paint. ugh

i'm trying to remove the faceplate by myself. i've got the two scrws out but it seems not to be budging. i don't want to use too much force a dn break it. does anyone know exactly how to remove it? thanks alot.

u should take it to wherever u got it and have them do it...cuz my sister tried to force hers off and ended up breaking it lol

There are TONS of faceplates for sale, cheap. on ebay. they come in all different colors and designs

I know how to install a faceplate for the a670.

1. Pop out the round disc things on the inide of the screen
2. Use a small phillips head to unscrew both of the screws (keep both the screws and discs nearby)
3. Use a flathead screwdriver and starting near the "hinge" with ur phone closed, pry around the outside.
4. Once remaoved use the flathead screwdriver to pry off the lcd screen on the stock faceplate.
5. Using the doublesided tape that came on the inside of ur new or old faceplate...reattach the lcd cover to your new faceplate
6. Slide the facplate on making sure that it covers the area above the earpiec befor u clip it in place.
7. Replace screw and discs and enjoy

I hope this helped and the best place to find small enough screwdrivers are in home depot although I got mine in an xmods tool kit.

I had the same problem when I bought a cover. It was cheaply made and messed up the focus on my camera. Now I just stick to the ugly default cover. :P

Thanks for the tutorial it really helped me figure out how to change out the screen on the original faceplate. I thought it was permanently glued and was scared of prying it out.

I also noticed the new faceplate messes up the focus of the camera...

Are there any GOOD faceplates out there that perform as well as the original?
