Hey all. I'm currently thinking about switching to ATT and have been checking out their free phones. I'm interested in the Samsung X426 but after reading some reviews on the web am unsure about it. A lot of people seem to say that it has terrible reception.
Has this been your experience or would you recommend this phone?
Is there another free (or reasonably cheap) phone from ATT that you would recommend over the X426?
THANKS!

if the x426 is anything like the x427 (they are identical except for thefaceplate and service provider) then its a total piece of ****. ive had three and they've all died. dont go with a samsung. its only free or cheap for a reason... they wouldnt be able to get rid of them otherwise.

I recently got the x426 from att and i love the fact that it was a free flip phone, but it does not have a camera and gets terrible reception.

for the most part, i've been fairly happy with the X426. My only real complaints are that when I load an image for a different screensaver, the phone lags a little...and the lack of external caller id

I don't think the x426 is THAT bad of a phone, its actually pretty good. Really cheap too, really good entry level phone.
