I just got a new face plate for my a670. I removed the old one but I dont know how to put the new one on. There is no clear plastic piece to protect the outside screen. Has anyone done this? Are there any instructions/pictures on how to do this? Thanks in advance.

    ***UPDATE***

FYI to all those thinking of buying a face plate. DONT! I found out from other people that if you change your face plate and somthing happens to your phone, VZW will not even touch it. I took it to the store and they said they will not fix it if anything breaks, if you replace the faceplate. Warranty is then void if this is done. I would recommend not doing this. I wasted 10 bucks to find this out. Just an FYI.

i know i just got a faceplate the other day and the guy in the mall put it on for me. when i got home, and i started taking pictures, the flash was so bright that either the pictures came out all white or blue. b/c on the original faceplate, there is like frosted glass over the flash, and when you buy faceplates, it has nothing. so be careful. i thought i messed up my phone, but when i put the other faceplate back on, it worked fine.

yeah, but changing faceplates always voids your warranty. on ANY VZW phone. if you buy a new faceplate, have it installed at the mall or somewhere where they know how to do it, and watch them. Save your original faceplate. now, if your phone breaks, just change out the aftermarket faceplate and take it into VZW. they won't know. i have done this with previous phones, and it works fine.

If you really want to change the plate then u have to use the original plastic on the old plate for the outside LCD. it has a special coating of something that the flash needs to balance it out. Thats why faceplates dont come with it. Even though it looks like the plastic doesnt reach the camera, im 99% sure it does.

I just got my faceplate from Accessorygeeks.com and i love it. i read other posts about the camera being screwed up and stuff, but i didn't have any problem with it. i got a faceplate and a white flashing battery, and it looks great! i suggest this for anyone with this phone. it also was very easy to change the faceplate out, contrary to what everyone else has been saying.

yo to put on the faceplate u need phillips nd flathead screwdrivers. first use the philliups to remove those 2 screws on the inside of the clamshell. then just take off the old stock faceplate. dont worry about pulling too hard try using the flathead to help pry it off. then on the stock faceplate inside use the flathead to pry off that clear cover. they dont come with new faceplates you have to use the old one. it has weak glue on it but its easy to remove. double sided tape works to re stick the screen once the glue gets bad. work backwards to put it back on and vuola!. i think thats how u ***** it. umm u void the warranty if **** happens and u have a faceplate but u could always put the stock one back on b4 giving it to verizon to fix. they wont be able to tell. send me a message if u have ne questions. idk if emails are allowed to be posted so send e a private message on this server if u can. otherwise repost and use this forum to communicate.
