I tried the first one posted and it worked with the Verizon a-670.
the second one doesnt do crap. But the first one does. the only problem is that you can save. if anybody figures this out please post it.

I couldn't log on with the ip and port given above. Is there anything else you can do with these menus?

the test-CDMA mode code is 47*68#13580

once you enter that, hit #28

now when you press numbers 0-6, you can see different colors of the LED

does anyone know how to save the changes?

*IMPORTANT*if you hit #29 it will fry your phone so you probably dont want to do that

taking your advice, i went into the test-cdma/prls/pcs mode (explanation soon)
i tried the light/colors (i was impressed)
so i thought
hmm... i wonder what other commands there are
first try, had no clue that you hit # to get out of a command/prompt, ended up hitting random buttons, then removing the battery after panicking
somehow didnt hurt anything
second time, same thing, but this time, it erased everything i had put into the phone, no big deal (oddly enough, the get-it-now apps stayed)
then after putting in the important numbers, i worite down the ones i couldnt remember, and decided to give the mode a try again, this time, i started at 01, and figured out to hit # to get out of a mode without savign changes

i skipped 29, and went up to 73
which erases everyhtign on the phone
EVERYTHING
the phone would no longer connect to towers, or anything
i messed aorund a little in other hidden menus with no luck, so figured i would go ahead and do 29,
that rebuilds the EEPROM
it eventually came back up jsut like it did after i did 73
so it won't fry the phone, jsut make it difficult to do anythign with

after 3 hours of fumbling around, and activating my old phone (sch-a310, which has the same hidden menus)
i discovered that 04 selects between cdma, pcs, gps, etc
i set that option to somehtign like "normal 04", and was able to get the phone to detect towers, re-activate it, get it programmed again, and it's back up and running perfectly

on the plus side, that annoying verizon wireless banner is gone, which fromt he debug screen is called the ERI display
instead, the clock jsut stays permanently

the test-prls/whatever thing changes depending on the mode the phone is set to in 04

so to sum things up, steer clear of the console mode
hit # to get out of changing an individual thing without saving
02 will restart the phone
29, and 73 will erase everything
to get service back (and nothing else), use 04

That sucks

That sucks dude. If you go back into the CDMA Test hit 04. this should give you service back. Everything else will be gone. You can also take it to verizon and ask them for a new phone. DONT TELL THEM WHAT YOU DID. Make something up like you were charging it and this happend.

This is my first post, so I hope its worth you all the time to read it.
Today I just upgraded my phone to the a670(on verizon).
And looking for some hacks, (durrr) I came across this forum(durr).

Well!!!
I'm working on a list of what number corresponds to what cmd(command) via the "cdma/pls console".

So far I have 1-93(Shows what the text appears once this number is entered)

Also saw that on a few of the options to save your new changes, press the * (a few times/or hold it)
This command list is still growing and will be posted today(saturday) ..

---EDIT ----
Has anyone had a luck playing around in the gps section?
Ive gotten an error of "gpsONE lock is on"
wtf is this?

Does the OKI900+++ come to mind with a few of these commands as well?

i found a way to get rid of the Verizon banner that switches with the time. Just go into the secret menu the test prls one or what ever it is called (47*68#13580) and go to menu 5 and change the mode to something other that what it is right now. Mine was the CDMA Mod . Chnage uit to like the PCS ir something. Then it will reset your phone then go back into the test menu and change it back to the default mode it was on. Then it will reset again and it will be gone1 This way you dont have erase all your memory.

yeah, dang your gonna want to stay away from 130 in the test menu I dont know what it does but it makes it so the phone only turns off and on by itself. I think it erased everything or something. Did any one else do this?
