Samsung a650 faceplates

I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the faceplate on a Samsung a650 phone. I figured out how to get off the original one, but the new faceplate comes with a hole where "Samsung" is originally written on the first one. This middle part stays connected with the original one, so I was wondering if that was supposed to come off? Sorry if this doesn't make sense..I'm just a little confused as to how it works.

I actually just got my flace plate changed and the middle piece does come out and you put the part where it says samsung on the new face plate... i went to the verizon stand at my mall to get it done professionally b/c if something happens to the phone your warranty is voided if you do it
