How To Remove the Verizon Wireless Banner

go into the test CDMA menu type in 47*68#13580 then go to option 4 or 5 and chnage the type of network. Then It will restart the phone and it will not have any service but you will see that its only time no Verizon Wireless Banner. Then go back into the menu and change it back to the mode it was on. It should be like CDMA normal or something like that and then it will restart and you will have service and the Verizon Wireless banner will be gone.

I don't get why people want to get rid of the Verizon Wireless Banner??
That can easily tell you if you are on there network or not.
Especially now since most extended networks your roaming light won't flash anymore.

I agree that it's a bit annoying. Takes up room on the screen, and that does get important with smaller phones.

Also, with some phones, you can change the Verizon logo to whatever you want, and it is the same as having the Verizon logo on there.

But now with the new plans that Verizon has (no roaming anymore), you don't need to worry about roaming, or the roaming indicator.
