From what I've read the lense in those pics is an attachment. Aparently there are different lense attachments for different applications.

Through the years phones and cameras have been become smaller. and then this monster camera phone somehow became a product. How did the manufactures think that this would sell to anyone wanting a convenient device probably weighing more that my head?

It seems more like a camera with a cellphone included than a cellphone with a camera included.

Yeah, there are different lense's for it. Here's another picture of it. I think this photo show's the actual lense that comes with the phone. (still looks like a camera to me, and not a phone)

Damn that picture is big, I think I'm just going to give a link instead.

    Another pic of the 770

If you need a camera that good, just buy a wireless phone and a camera.
The best provider gives you a plan with the minutes you need at the right price. The coverage that you need to make calls all the time.

Must be some kind of an April fool's joke... Makes me think about the 'kitchen of the future' clips I saw from the 60's... All space age thinking. Well, it's probably doing cutting edge things like this that enables companies to test the markets and prove their concepts. That's why car manufacturers have stuff like concept cars...

I think the whole reason samsung made it is to just say 'look what we did!'.

It's like riding a top fuel dragster to work. Simply not practicle for every day use. That and you'd look pretty doofy either way.
