i just called Tmobile support and asked them about sending files from your computer to your E105 thru email. They said that the only way to get files was by downloading them thru the phone. On this forum people said that you can send midi tones from your comp to your phone by email? if this is the case how do u do it? i have tried SO many times and it is not working!!! I dont have internet on my phone, if that matters at all. BUT if you guys know what the fun club is on Samsung.com, they have free ringtones available for download each month and i am able to download those to my phone. So my question is, how can i send midi files from my comp to my phone by email? and when i get them on my phone, how do i open them, that is my main problem. my phone is a E105

i thought you needed internet access ro receive attachments messages. it would be easier to just install easy gprs and use infared or cable to transfer pics and ringers to your phone. i opted for oem samsung cable, a little more but well worth it. the cheaper aftermarket cables are a hit-or-miss affair. i'd rather spend a little now and prevent future problems later (which would require more spending).

I would do this all the time. First you send the e-mail with the midi attached to your phone (#########@tmomail.net if i remember correctly) IT should get to your phone as a picture message. When you open the message it should give you an option to save the sound.

make sure its an attachment! not in the body of the message. (save is usually option 7)
