I have many midi files on my computer and I have a SPH-a660 phone. I would like to put these files onto my phone so that I can use them as ringers. I don't have a data cable, but I can get one, the only problem is that the software is in a language that my computer doesn't support. It shows up completely as ? marks, I think that it is Chinese characters that my computer doesn't support. I have also tried WAP Upload, mobstorage.com and programs like this as I have free WAP on my wireless plan. I can access the pages where the files are but when I choose to download, only a blank screen comes up. Anyone who has any tips with this would be great. I live in Canada and am with Bell Mobility.

you can use http://www.jhonny.org/wap/?action=help . this place is very good. But ull have to pay the download fees. On rogers it was 5cents a kb. And the first month i downloaded only a 7 ringtones. My network bill was $50. so be careful.

make a free account on www.zedge.no and you will get an upload shack of 500kb, you can store up to 5 files only though. If you make the account then on your phone you can go to wap.zedge.no and log into your account and then go to your upload shack and get your files after you have uploaded them, hope this helps,
oh, the only other site i can think of www.coolservice.dk, where you upload the file and then download it by writing down the code for the item you uploaded (they'll give you the code after the upload is complete) and go to wap.coolservice.dk on your phone and type in the code and you'll get your file, but the files only last 1 hour on this site, but you dont have to create an account, hope this helps you out man, let us know

Did you try email the file as an attachment? Make sure it is not too large or the phone won't be able to open it.

    Hi

I vouch for Zedge too. Got them in my free ringtone downloads list and it seems like a good service. Allways read the small print on any site though. Some sites use subscription billing and give you the first tone free and then bill you weekly until you opt out. Just keep that in mind when checking out new ringtone sites.
