Internet on a670

when I try to get on the internet with my a670 I get a message saying "Security is not enabled. Enabling security can take several minutes. Proceed?" so i hit yes then it sends and then it says generating key then it just goes back to the same security is not enabled message... any help???

You're not using a good proxy. Try a different one.

i used a different proxy for a670 and an a650 and it said to type in a home address and i just used the default address which is osmething like www.openwave.com, i was unable to use any other homepage and now i can only use that page, i cant surf the internet or download ringtones onto either of those two phones. both of the phones are having the same problem. is there anything i must do to fix this problem?

I had problems with my 317. I 1st turned off the secure mode. then I still had problems from time to time with it timing out. I called suncom and they sent me a message with ip and dns info and had me change my info and I have not had another problem since.

ps it also fixed my multi media send/recv

When you try to get onto the internet and it gives you the security warning it means you dont pay for the service. Now if you entered a free wap port and IP and you still cant get on there is something wrong. Now if you got stuck on the Openwave Homepage just go back and Delete the port you used and then enter it agian. This wil reset your Browser. Then go back to your browser and it should give you the Chose Home page Page. Chose a search engine like google.com. This will allow you to search for any other home page and get anywere you want to go.


Tip. Its been very hard to download ringtones from wap site for CDMA phones so dont get your hopes up.
