need major help with data cable for SCH a670

OK i got a data cable for my a670 but iam stuck on how to use it. It asked me to type in a APN wat is that and where do i find it? Also an connexion name wat is that and where do i find that. The user name and password, is that somethin i make up or do i have to know that all ready?
