Hi
Once again, use Easy GPRS's software, it's much more user friendly and will tell you if the ringers aren't in the right format for your phone.

Hi
Check out the page http://www.samsung.com/download/agreement.htm - select 'agree' and then select your model details in the form until you get your download page. Like this:
First column: Mobile Phone
Second Column: Mobile Phone
Third Column: Mobile Phone
Fourth Column: SCH-A670
You'll now see that the 'manual' section is selected. Click on the 'Software' tab in the gray bar and then you'll see a list of software for your phone.
In the first row, click on the icon within the 'file' column. This is supposedly the software that Samsung recommends... If it doesn't, you should take it up with them since they're recommending it!!

Mmm, might be a cable problem. Best is to contact Samsung support and ask them exactly which cable works best with your phone. Sorry, sounds like the standard 'diplomatic' answer, but in this case that would be your best bet. There are so many sites that sell cables and software for your phone, you can never be sure if it works! Rather ask the manufacturer, Samsung.

I was having a similar problem.. and finally went to DATAPILOT commercial software.. it fixed all driver issues I was having.. and works great with my phone. My only issue is that when I add new ringtones, the tones assigned to individual users will jump.. and need to be re-assigned. In other words, someone who was assigned to 'The A Team Theme' is now playing 'Sweet home Alabama' even though I made no changes (except put more tones on the phone).

It's funny. So many people seem to have intermittant problems and some software works on some phones etc. Tones jumping around must mean that the uploading software is buggy in a way. Only problems I've had with the GPRS software was that if I download a large number of photos from my phone to PC it sometimes bombs out and I have to restart the app.
