So, we've established that many of us have problems with the flash after we've changed the faceplate. Because the faceplates don't have a filter over the flash, the flash is too bright and completely blanks out the photo. The only solutions I've seen mentioned so far are either "put the old faceplate back on" (which defeats the whole point of getting the thing in the first place) or "turn off the flash" (which is just dandy except when I WANT to use the flash). The question, then, is has anyone come up with another solution? Has anyone worked out a way to use a replacement faceplate, use their flash function, and get the camera to take decent, flash-assisted pics? Or are those of us in this situation basically just SOL?

acctually, take the filter out of the old faceplate, and find a way to put it in the new one (superglue? lol).
