P777 Data Cable & Windows xp


just got the new P777 the other day and installed the software (EasyStudio II File Manager) onto my computer (OS: Windows xp Professional) for some reason windows does not recognize the USB Data Cable and the software cannot connect to the phone because of it! how can i get windows to recognize it?!

the software (EasyStudio II File Manager) already has a driver for the USB Data Cable...the problem is with windows!

problem solved! ok guys i called tech support and they walked me though the process! all you have to do is uninstall the software and the USB driver (2 different programs)...let windows restart...then re-install the software (disconect the USB Data Cable before installing) windows will give you warnings about some "logo" just click "continue away"...after the software is installed close the program then open it from your destop...plug the USB Data Cable into your computer...then plug your phone into the data cable (make sure it's on and open) give it a few seconds...let it download all 3 drivers...after all drivers are complete and ready for use go to "setup" in the program...change the "port" to COM1 and then double click on the "my phone" if you don't see a little "+" sign on the left hand side of the little phone icon then go back to "setup" and change it to the next avalivable "port" continue this until you see it! if that dosen't work you might have to reset your phone or call tech support!
