Ok i believe youa re connection throug the wrong port. Go to edit>settings then under port click browse find the port that shows your Samsung CDMA phoen and click save. If you do not see this then you have the wrong driver for it.

you dont need to unlock the phone and the drivers are lsited on the first page

I am having the same problem!! It's not working. I have the right driver and the system shows com3 as my CDMA Samsung port but I still get an error saying "the phone is not responding while transitioning mode from none to brew. Maybe its the data cable itself that is not right. It says A660 on the back of mine but my phone is a 680!

i also found that you can transfer your pictures with the program datapilot. I downloaded it off limewire.

You can also get the original Samsung software at http://www.samsungmobile.com/ - just go into your country, register and go looking for the software link. It's phone specific. I think it's PC Link software, else it will be Easy GPRS or PIMS.
