Alright guys i need a little help. I have a samsung a660 and I got the USB cable and I am using BitPim to connect and manipulate my ringers. However I have to do it through a more poweruser mode than through the GUI because my phone is "unsupported" by the bells and whistles. This isn't much of a problem I have been able to succefully upload a .mid and play it. However I have been having problems getting polyphonic formats to work. The tutorial I have been using says that a .cmx file works on the samsungs and it is implied in his tutorial that he has made one work on his phone. However I read in more than one other place that .qcp is the polyphonic format that is supported by the samsungs. And finally I found this on samsungs site http://samsung.times.lv/faq/ saying that the ONLY supported polyphonic type is .mmf. I have tried uploading all of them each without success and I was wondering if anyone knows for a fact what I need and need to do to get this working!
thanks,
cory

moved here, to the samsung department because you have a higher chance of getting the right kind of help, than from the people in the ringtone department.
