Low Signal Strength/Reception - A650

Hey guys. I have a samsung a650. The reception has all of a sudden died on my phone. It is always either 1 or no bars. I tried switching things around on another on of my phones, and i concluded that is has to do with the actual electronic board inside and not the antenna.
So, i think this has to do with something programmed inside. Would anyone have any idea how to change the signal strength somehow from inside the telephone. Or does anyone know how to reset all the settings on the phone (b/c I think this is why its broken).
So if anyone can answer these questions or have another reason to why my signal strength is dying please do tell. Thank you in advance.

Setup -> Security -> Reset Phone

If this does not solve the problem, and I have my doubts that such a thing would happen like this, then you will need to get the phone sent back to your service provider for repairs.
