Secret menu in Setup of the SCH-a670

There's another menu when you:

1) Go to Menu
2) Enter '9' for Setup
3) Enter '*'

The phone prompts you for a Field Serv code (6 digits). Does anyone know what to enter at this point? Other secret menus require the last 4 digits of your phone number but this one is asking for 6 digits.

hmm, same with my phone only i have the SPH a-860.. i get this when i press '#' though.. any ideas of this "Field Serv" ?

I know the Field Serv code for Verizon is 000000 but this code doesn't work for MetroPCS. Does anyone know the 6-digit Field Serv code for SCH-a670 phones for MetroPCS?

I can confirm the 000000 for Verizon. As for more secrets, once you get into the secret menu, pressing 0 again takes you into the GPS submenu.

Alright, I got a Samsung SCH-A670 a few weeks ago. I can't access these "secret menus" at all. If I press 'Menu' then '9' nothing happens at all. Am I being a tool and doing something wrong here? Or, is my phone a different version or something which does not have this menu.

Is there a way to tell the software version on the phone so I know if it is the same one you guys have?

When I try and access the filesystem on the phone with QPST / ESN explorer, I am prompted for a 6-digit SPC number. I'm not sure what to enter here. Does this number prevent access to the filesystem on the phone, or is there a way around this code to access the filesystem.

I havee tryed the same thing and get th same 6 digit coded.. would anyone know what U.S. Ceellalur Code would be??

i believe actually that 7 is the setup hotkey in the menu. im not positive bc my phone isnt with me. but i did this a while ago and i thikn once u get to the menu get to setup either by hitting 7 or scrolling to it then hit * im not sure bc its been a while

what's with these menu's being secret anyway?? bizarre. definitely going to check this out.

000000,999999,123456 or 654321

they don't tell you how to get into these menus becuase they aren't for you and more than likely you will try to do something and screw up your phone.

i have tryed all the codes listed in the topic but still cant access the secret menu.... i know verizon is menu,7,* then 000000 but us cellular is menu,9,* but still have not found the six digit code.... anyone have any idea's ?
