E720 - hard reset ?

Hi folks,

I'm having a little problem with my Samsung E720. None of the keys are working when I switch the phone on. This has only started happening about an hour or so ago and I can't seem to reset it. Is there any way that I can do a 'hard reset' or anything like that with it ?? I called my service providor and they said there is nothing they can do as I can't access anything.

I was thinking it was the keypad that has went faulty, but when I remove the battery to switch it off, I can switch it on no problem and when pressing all the keys, one or two of them work once and not again, it's driving me mad !! Can anybody help !?!?

I would try and look in your manual and see if there is anything like hard resetting the phone. Removing the battery and turning it back on is just as good as a softreset, so if your phone still doesn't work after that it could be a hardware problem.

Thanks for your reply. I had a look in the manual and there is nothing about it. Strange thing is, I switched it off and removed the battery and the sim card for over an hour and a half then I put them back in and it started working again until I sent a text and then it done the same again...........really annoying !

hmm, thats really weird, I guess a service call or a trip to your cell provider is in needed.
