Cell Phone Got Wettt!

Yeah.. it got wet. I think I screwed it up by turning it on. But it turned back off! The screen turns on and stuff.. and the buttons are fine. But the sub-screen thing is all wet. It also keeps saying "Offline Mode" I don't know how to get rid of it. Help?

if its still wet, TAKE THE BATTERY OUT! if you turn your phone on while wet, it'll short circuit. leave the battery off until the phone is COMPLETELY dry. it may take a few days to dry out.

there is no guarantee that this will work, especially since you already turned your phone on while it was wet.

Unfortunately the warranty will nto cover liquid damage to the handset check the user's manual, replacement thru the service provider will probably mean cost

I dried it out.. and it works fine actually. Surprising, really. But why does the offline mode still stay there? Someone help me out? Is the phone screwed up? How come everything else works just fine.

you may have fried it, what network and modle is it?

Sprint PCS.. and I dunno which model. It's the Samsung with the blue cover. ^_^;;
