Please help with Samsung EasyStudio File Manger software

Hi all, i have a SGH-X497. I cannot seem to upload any ringtones to my phone. Now just to let you know, I have already uploaded music to my phone this way before. For some strange reason now, I cannot do it anymore. In fact, I have uploaded images as well. I can still upload images to my phone, and download images and ringtones from my phone to PC. The only thing that I cannot do anymore is upload ringtones from my PC to my phone. I even deleted half my ringtones just to make sure it was not a space issue. And the size of the ringtones are all the same about 140KB. The ones I'm uploading are no where too big, cuz I can upload songs as big as 200KB, which is what have on the phone right now. I'm using Samsung's EasyStudio PIMS and File Manger to do this. It has always worked before. When I open the file manager, I highlight a ringtone to upload from my PC to the phone, but the upload icon does not light up for me to click it. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you want another way to get ringers on to your phone send them as an email attatchment from your computer to your phones email address.

what version of software are u running??

I am running version 1.0.0.1 WK1. Now the thing is, I can't even update the software through live update option in the toolbar under the help menu. So, what I also tried was to download latest from Samsungs webpage. But that was no good, because everytime I try to install it, it keeps telling me to uninstall the previous version. Which I did to begin with. So I thought maybe there was an error or something while uninstalling. So I reinstalled my version, then uninstalled it again. Tried to install the newer version I downloaded from the samsung webpage, but no luck. It keeps telling me to uninstall any previous version on my computer, which of course does not exist. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will have to try this as an absolute last resort. I believe this would cost me. Where as the transfer via usb is free, quicker and less time consuming(well atleast it's suppose to be.)
