    Would you guys reccomend this phone? Is it true that you can only store 25 text messages at a time? Is there a way to change that if thats true? Is it easy to view video on the phone (from the computer, not taken with the phone)? Has the slider on the phone worn out? What case/screen protector did you get if any? Do all of these phones come packaged with a headset no matter where you get them? How well does the bluetooth work? Does it support Bluetooth Audio Video Remote Control profile (AVRCP) and does it support the Bluetooth stereo profile (A2DP)? Thanks very much for your help, I'm getting a new phone and plan from T-Mobile. I'm moving from prepaid to a monthly plan.

    You can store 200 text messages on the internal memory of the phone, and 30 on the SIM card. Video on the phones is pretty decent, there's a mode where you can view fullscreen and you can view the video with the phone on its side (watch this: YouTube - Videos on my phone ) Slider is still great, and I've had the phone for a couple of months. One thing is that is squeaks a lot, due to the poor craftsmanship of this phone. I use a Motorola Razr v3 case that is sold by Cingular (eBay: OEM Cingular Leather Case Motorola V3,V3c,V3i,V3x Razr (item 200000413839 end time Jun-26-06 08:29:26 PDT)) Here's some advice: Do not get a case with magnets, as the magnets will make the t809 think that the slider is open and could affect the phone itself. I used a PSP screen protector cut to size that I've purchased from a game store. Yes, all t809's should come packaged with stero headphones, but they suck, and there aren't any aftermarkets that are good, so you're stuck to the stock ones. The t809 does NOT support AVRCP or A2DP. I'd say go for it, it's a pretty neat phone.

    What do you mean the slider squeaks? Is it really bad like when you're opening and closing it?

    How do you switch where the text messages are saved? Like between memory card, sim card, and internal memory?

    I got this phone a couple weeks ago, the screen resolutions seems much better then my razor, my complaint is that some times u cant push the "down" key with out hitting the "clear" key. Other then that its sweet I purchased a 1gib "micro sd" card for it from Best Buy for $64.99. I've put my mp3's on it now I have to just figure out how to make them my ring tones!

    To Achieve This, You Must Turn Your .mp3 File To A .3gp File.

    Step 1: Place Your Ringtone In A New Folder

    Step 2: Go To 'tools' On The Menu Bar Above
    --> Then To 'folder Options'
    --> Then To 'view'

    Step 3: See If The 'hide Extenstions For Known File Types Is Checked. If So, Uncheck.

    Step 4: Change Your .mp3 To A .3gp

    Step 5: Place In Your Phone, Then Just Set It As Your Ringtone :]

    Hope It Helps.

    Re: Samsung T809 General Questions

    I'm having trouble moving any text messages, whether it be to sim card, or to phone. It just wont let me click it as an option.The option is now light gray instead of black, and i barely have any messages on my phone.I've had the phone for a few months, and never had this happen to me before today.

    Also, does anyone know how to make the default storage for messages to the phone, and not the sim card?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    I saw the video on the youtube, for which the link you have posted above. But the video is not quite clear. If you know how, could you please list the steps to make the videos full screen?
    I would appreciate help.
    Thanks.
