#16 | | Newbie | I have access to several, but the file size limits vary. I know that Ringerpost.com's is 500kb, but who needs them that large anyway
Here they are... Free Ringtone Uploader - FunForMobile Phone Uploader <(== already mentioned in above posts Ringerpost Uploader
If you need further help with this or any other matter, feel free to visit me on IRC on the EFNet server in the room #SprintPCS and I'll cover it in more detail. I'm logged on under the nick exit

I have tried this and it works
go to Phone Uploader And follow the instructions
It is real easy. The easiest way I have found.
Type in your phone number
the name of the file
the location on your computer
It sends a text message to your computer
Open it and hit the go button or options and go
File will download
It will give you the option to listen to or set as. Select set as and make it for whichever calls you want.
Enjoy. | is that program safe, since you are giving out your phonenumber?

#19 | | Sr. Member | I have never had any problem putting my mp3's into my phone and setting them as ringers. I've just bluetoothed them all from my computer to my phone. Simple, FREE, and done. Is this rare? I figured all Samsungs were like mine, as far as this topic goes, anyway.

#21 | | Newbie | Translated Hello Tod@s,
In order to place mp3 of ringtong in samsung a900: Mp3 is due to happen to 3gp2 to place to the song a name to him SSPX0032.3gp2 type or with algun another one I number q seems a video. Despues keeps in the same space where the photos and videos q keep tomam. And ready enjoy, they look for it like adding ringtong from My Videos and ready, it works very well. In order to listen to the musica, they are due to place mp3 and/or mp4, videos, 3gp, 3pg2, etc, in Average, and despues executes the "Player Average" in "Mass Storoge", can be made folders and everything, does not present/display problems, that if archives q contain "ñ" in their name does not reproduce:s. Somebody knows like passing games to him with cable USB, I am looking for that???
Greetings,
Cesniel: -)
Enjoy Hola Tod@s,
Saludos
Cesniel :-)
Enjoy!

#22 | | Newbie | I reduced my .mp3's size to 300 kb and my A640 says the size of the content is too big. 300 kb is tiny...how small does it need to be?

#23 | | Newbie | I have followed the instructions about uploading ringtones trough the site but i have come across a problem. When the ringtone plays when someone calls the ringtone skips(only at the start) when there is an assigned picture from my albums. but when i use the ringtone i have downloaded from bell itself it doesn't skip at all.
I'm not sure if the size of the ringtone is the problem because the downloaded ringtone from bell is really small compared to the uploaded one?
or is it because the phone's software just takes a while to searches in 2 different folders...if so why does the bell downloaded ringtone work with no problems?
thanks much | | |

#26 | | Newbie | I use T-mobile and I can't manage to get this to work with the regular method or the manual way. The message never comes, and when I try to do it manually, it tells me access denied or some $hit. Any suggestions?
thx, Liiphen~ | | |

#28 | | Newbie | Hi
I sent a 30 seconds mp3 file to my Samsung Tracer phone but it won't let me set it as my ringtone. It says the file is too long when the default song that came with the phone is much longer, full length, and I can set that as my ringtone but not the one I sent to myself.

Just a heads up - if you don't feel safe throwing out yer number, these sites usually give a Jump Code if you don't wanna receive a text with a URL.
Heres the uploader I use - never had a problem. Mobile Phone Uploader
Step 1:
Edit and save your MP3 (keep it under 35 secs - around 92kbps is great quality for the phone speaker - file is usually about 300kb - MP3 is the working format for the A900 - if you have a different phone I am unsure)
Step 2:
Load up that webpage on your computer ( http://pcs.cruz-network.net/).
Step 3:
Choose File Name - Destination Folder - and Upload your MP3 - will then refresh page with a Jump Code.
Step 4:
Open Mobile Browser and go to "http://pcs.cruz-network.net/jump.php" (save this page in your mobile browser as favourites, you will use it again ! :P
Step5:
Enter the jump code from the computer onto your phone. Download and Enjoy.
Can be used for pics - applications - music and games. Enjoy! hope this helped people!
Also with the MP3 editing, try to increase the volume of the MP3 without distorting it to make it even louder on your phone!
