samsung a645 please help

i have tried all of the data cables i have, and nothing worked. how else can i connect this phone to my pc. i am trying to move my numbers, to this new phone. if anyone knows of a data cable, please let me know, because i have not been able to find one. thank you

According to PhoneScoop, that phone is not capable of PC sync. Sorry!

This Phone is capable of PC-Sync, i have a USB Cable from DATA-Pilot (just got it last week) . i downloaded the Free software from Samsung for this phone, ( DIRECT LINK - http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.co..._Installer.exe ) ,

the data-pilot cable also came with some software that works with the contacts and Calendar feature,

i was also able to use Bit-Pim.V1.0 & QPST with this phone, Bit-Pim (V1.0.0 doesnt have an option for this phone, but was recognized as an A670 phone, and i was able to get the Programming and Carrier passwords.

I am on telus Pay&Talk, and it sux, TELUS wont let the SCH-a645 Download or add any Ringtones/images to this phone unless you purchase them from telus only,
at $3.50 for a truetone. with bitpim i was able to replace the download tones with my own custom tones, and downloaded images can also be changed, (after i made the new Pic/Tone i wanted to use i just renamed the file to what i was replacing it with)

I also recently played some more with someone's A645 and found that there are 3 diffrent USB modes to choose from by changing the "PORT MAP" settings in "DEBUG" mode (debug mode ##test) ,

-1) USB-DS u1-HFK
-2) USB-DS U1-DM
-3) USB-DM U1-DS

Are the 3 selections to chose from to change the connection type.

i tried all these settings , 2 out of 3 of these worked for me,
(when these setting are changed the phone will auto restart, nothing will be lost, just a power down, then power up to apply settings to PORT changes

my Phone was set to "USB-DS u1-HFK" by default when i got my phone, and works fine for this phone.

so if you cant connect your phone to you PC with the cable try changing these settings
