I was reading the Samsung support site, and it said that I could assign WMA files on my phone as my ringtone. The dumb part of it is that it doesn't even say how to do that...Anyone know how? Help is greatly appreciated.

You have to either download the song from Vcast (verizon) or you have to buy the music essentials kit and sync a wma file from your computer to your phone. From there, you can assign songs as your ringtone i belive.

It's really easy. All you need is a good editing program, I use Wave Creator by Music and Audio Software by Blaze Audio

What you do essentially is download whatever you want to use onto the editing program, and cut and paste it until it's where you want it. 25-30 seconds tops, is enough, and way under the size limit (300kb).

First you save it as a .wav file, and then convert it from stereo to mono. You then export it back to MP3 and you're basically done.

All you do after that is email the file to your A930's email address which is your 10-digit [email protected]

The description I just gave is the simplistic (non-specific) version, when you really go to do it; PM me and I'll give you the exact instructions.

Aside from downloading the music either from the 'net, or cds you already own; and waiting for the file to get to your phone once you email it, the customizing part can literally take as little as five or ten minutes.
