SCH-U510 Drivers/Software needed

Hey guys,

Just bought this phone and I went to the samsung website and they don't have my software or drivers there, they have all the other samsung phones. Maby it's beause it's a new relase or something.

One more thing. I put in a Scandisk 1Gig card in the phone and it does not detect it, and yes it is capable of 1Gig.

Usually it takes a while for the drivers to come online (I know, I know...). I have looked briefly, and have come to the same conclusion of you. I will try looking a bit more, but no 100% chance of success

Yea, pretty stupid, I didn't even get a cd with it or anything. Basically I just have to wait? Do you think sending samsung an e-mail will do anything?

Would anyone have an idea how to set mp3's as a ringtone? My buddies phone you just hit options on the mp3 that you would like and go to "set as" and then click ringtone, but this damn phone there is nothing like that. I have tried everything, any ideas?

UPDATE: I called "CS" and they said that the software is not out yet because the phone is brand new.

Hey guys, I'm basically scrwed with the network i'm with (Telus) which has thir cell phones so restricted it's not even funny. I have about 5 days left to return the Samsung SCH-U510 and get another one.

I can't download MP3's via Bluetooth or USB. I have to pay for them.

Now, from this website, what phone do you guys recommend to get?

one more thing. Do you guys think I should stick to this phone and sooner or later someone is going to find out how to hack it just like the "Nokia 6265i" or change phones? Like I said this is a new phone that just came out right, can't really expect to much out of it.
