sch-u740 sd micro card problem

Hello everyone. I have just picked up a 2 gb sd micro card. The phone initially saw the card and allowed me to format it. Once I hooked the card upto the sd card reader to the computer the phone no longer sees the sc micro card. I was wondering if anyone out there had this problem also and what you did to fix this.

For the record.
the sd micro card is still readable in the computer.
the card is not seen by my phone.
I removed the format that the phone put on the card but, it still wont see it.
I have formatted the card fat
the card is a sandisk 2gb micro sd

Did you try fat 16?

Yeah I formatted it in Fat 16 and fat 32 both with the same results. The phone does not see the card at all anymore. I don't know what else to do to get the phone to recognise the card again.
