Is there anyway to use this phone like a pda and dl pda browser instead of the default cellphones browser?

No. You would need to purchase a PDA If you are looking for a better browser and a non-smart phone try to Voyager, it uses a html browser, but you would also want to add vcast for unlimited mbs for data.

Yeah but I dont like the Voyagers styling as much as the 740, and I'm not sure what featires I need on the Voyager and the price on the 740 is better!
Only features I'll miss as opposed to having a PDA is myspace and local radio really .
I have almost everything else I need with vcast and vpak and email and IM services AIM, YIM and MSN and so on...


Whats the bare minimum I would need to browse the net and get "500"instant messages vcast and email and so on.... and so on...???


With only spending under 65 to 70 a month? with voice added on to that 65-70, Because that's what I will be paying for u740 with 500 txt 450 minutes and email with vcast? and the Verzion non html web browser
