SCH U740 walpaper problem, and animations

I tried to search, but didnt find a similar issue.

I have only had the phone about two days now. But at least three times my walpaper image has reverted back to the OEM image

I go in, set a pic as a main walpaper....... and sometime later it is back to the phone on the desk stock image it came with.

Anyone else have this issue?


Also in the TXT message options, under add animation it gives the option of preloaded or downloaded. how and where would I get new animations. The ones it comes with (the bear or whatever it is) are nearly impossible to see what they are doing. When my girls sends me an animation from her phone I dont get the ones she sends...... my phone puts up the stoopid bear from my phone that is coded with the same emotion, and I cant tell what it is supposed to be

I had the same problem and I found out that it was my memory card that I had my pictures on!

I saved the picture that I wanted on the phone (not the memory card) and then set it as my wallpaper, it then worked!

If you dont have a memory card and the pictures are saved under the phone then it is a phone issue. If you get a chance, go to your nearest Verizon and get the updated software version. That may help!

Thanks man, For some reason it fixed itself apparantly for me.

I think it was because the phone was new, and after they initially turned it on for me, I took it home and put it on the charger, and then just kept using it. Hadnt turned it off yet. Because as soon as I powered it down once, it didnt do it again
