Whoa cowboy. That question makes perfect sense, because i have the exact same question. Thin is in (.4" or less), but the 2 or 3 major US carriers insist on offering a very limited selection of mostly bulky phones loaded with all kinds of functionality so they can charge even more for costly data usage plans. But what about the average joe who just wants the most reliable network with the widest signal coverage (i.e. from Verizon), but doesn't want to lock into a multiyear deal, and doesn't want to carry around a bulky phone that has more features than he will ever use?
Well, enter the iphone, which broke us free from the stangle hold of the carriers and shifted the power toward the manufacturers, and consequently the consumers.
As a result (more or less), Verizon appeared to be willing to open its network. I'm not sure if it happened yet?
So if the Samsung Wafer is
CDMA and Verizon is
CDMA, then the next step is to figure out if there are any "gotchas" or if this phone will work on this network as is.
